Trumps First 100 Days….. A Reflection on Reality

The concept of the first 100 days in office began in 1933 under President FDR.  Although it was meant to be a gauge of congressional progress during those 100 days, it soon morphed into report card on the president’s early accomplishments and failures, based on laws passed, executive orders and political approval ratings. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/First_hundred_days

I dare say that transferring political platform promises into action depends less on the president’s will as it does on the political landscape.  U.S. politics have changed dramatically since FDR, where intense debate ultimately led to some form of consensus; the basis of our democratic republic. Political parties are no longer representative of “We the People” as they are “We the Government”.  With each recent presidential election it became obvious, to the astute thinker, that our two party system has become one party posing as two. Presidential promises have become the basis of swaying voter allegiance.  Failure to keep those promises are blamed on party infighting and congressional timidness.  Where once elected officials were held accountable to those they represented, they now seek to do what’s necessary to stay in good favor with the media.  It takes courage to stand on principles, regardless of job security but political life is not about job security and never was.

Let’s look at our political landscape as it relates to Trump: https://www.entrepreneur.com/article/223971

  • Trump stunned the political world with non-conventional tactics that put him at odds with even the most seasoned political figures of either party. Not beholden to political favors and agendas, THIS IS NOT the norm in government.
  • From the onset, the anti-Trump movement was set in place to give the “political machine” time to figure out this enigma…..good luck with that!
  • were it not for Trump’s extensive business and negotiating skills that toughened his skin, Trump would have been “play dough” for the political establishment.
  • have you noticed that Trump seems to out flank the “swamp” at almost every turn, taking his lumps but staying on the offensive? The reason is that Trump thrives on cutting through the excrement, no matter how entrenched the ideology.
  • for the first time in memory a presidential candidate reached into the soul of the common man

How important is business acumen, for a president?

  • in earlier presidential races, having military expertise or years of political involvement was essential; rarely have presidential candidates had the benefit of business experience

* in the case of Barack Obama, he had neither military nor business experience, was an unknown with very limited political involvement.   Obama however, was our country’s first black president and the people responded favorably, apart from his lack of experience.   …………..Ahhhhh, I can hear all you politically correct opportunists ready to invoke the “racist remark” card.  Nice try but politically correct also means politically accurate…but I digress)

  • Sienna College Research Institute found that only 6 of our 45 presidents have had formal business experience from President Lincoln’s ownership of a general store, to President G.H. Bush ownership of Zapata Petroleum, to the peanut farm ownership of President Jimmy Carter.
  • President Donald Trump, by far has the most extensive business acumen. His multi-billion dollar real estate empire spans the globe, not including his “spin-off” businesses.

Here’s the point:  Who runs our government anyway

Have you noticed that slowly, over the years, our country has been run more like a “business” than a Representative Republic?  There’s a reason why our country behaves like a business entity.

  • if gov’t want to dabble in business they must show a profit. There is no accountability when the money you spend is not yours

For years I’ve been tip toeing around the basic principle that “words have meaning”.  I believe now is the time to make it real

We were not told that we were sold-out to foreign interests and made beneficiaries of the debt incurred by Congress to the international bankers.

With the surrender of their gold in 1933, the People essentially surrendered their law.

Congress is fully aware of this deception. You must be made aware that the members of Congress do NOT work for you and me. Rather, they work for the Corporation known as THE UNITED STATES.

Why do you think congress is not held to the same financial, healthcare, retirement

The corporate government of the UNITED STATES has no jurisdiction or authority in ANY state of the Republic beyond the District of Columbia

The UNITED STATES government is basically a corporate instrument of the international bankers. This means YOU are owned by the corporation from birth to death. The corporate UNITED STATES also holds ownership of all your assets, your property, and even your children.

“The Constitution for the united states of America”.

The altered version reads: “THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA”. It is the corporate constitution. It is NOT the same document you might think it is. The corporate constitution operates in an economic capacity and has been used to fool the People into thinking it is the same parchment that governs the Republic. It absolutely is not.

It doesn’t take a rocket scientist or a constitutional historian to figure out that this is not what is happening in our country today. Government in these times is NOT subject to the consent of the governed. Rather, the governed are subject to the whim and greed of the corporation, which has stretched its tentacles beyond the ten-mile-square parcel of land known as the District of Columbia — encroaching into every state of the Republic. Mind you, the corporation has NO jurisdiction outside of the District of Columbia. THEY just want you to think it does.

the UNITED STATES CODE Title 28 3002 (15) (A) (B) (C). It is stated unequivocally that the UNITED STATES is a corporation, not a republic

“ability to forge a team and get the most out of it, minimizing the tendency of subordinates to tell their boss what they sense he wants to hear, [and developing] proficiency at creating effective institutional arrangements.” Once again, this skill can be developed in the private sector,

Trump’s tax proposal states that, among other things, it would consolidate seven tax brackets into three, repeal the estate tax and lower the business tax rate to 15% from 35%.
